Am i supposed to hate nearly every character on this show? 
The only person i care about right now Sawyer. I HATED Anna Lucia.
Jack isn't terrible, but he's pushing it.

Everyone hated Ana Lucia, because everyone hates Michelle Rodriguez.
That's the best part about Lost. At points, you hate a character that later on you love.

Claire got really annoying. Constantly screeming like a bitch. Charlie got really annoying too with all his whining about the baby and how no one wanted his help. I was glad he was killed off

Ben really starts coming to his own in season 5. Locke tanks and then comes back strong.
Jin starts out as one of the most hated and becomes one of the most likeable.
Jack starts out ok, then tanks hard. He MAY come around in season 6.
Charlie's character gets better.
Desmond becomes one of the best, but disappears.
Eko is great...
Claire, Michael, Kate...
Juliet is cool
Sawyer is the most consistently likable one.
Jin starts out as one of the most hated and becomes one of the most likeable.
Jack starts out ok, then tanks hard. He MAY come around in season 6.

Early on there are plenty of people to hate.
The problem with Anna Lucia is that Michelle Rodriguez only has one acting expression. Permanent Sneer. That is her only acting methodology.
I liked Locke, Echo, Sawyer, Jin and Sun and Hurley. Didn't mind Kate, Jack Bernard, Rose and Charlie.
