I heard on NFL Network that some teams are interested in Hargrove, we have a third round tender on him, in my opinion we cant afford to lose him!!!

I don't think Hargrove is going anywhere. He's a contributor and the Saints can't really afford to lose any quality people up front.

But couldnt you find somebody in the third that could do what he does? I like Hargrove as well, but I dont think he is a must keep.

Maybe, but at least we know what we're getting with AH, he's a proven veteran, and it's not like the Saints have a large margin of error on the D front.

Our FO has been extremely good at finding talent; so, the risk of drafting a bust is reduced quite a bit. I say "reduced", not eliminated (see Antonio Pittman).

They very well may. If they were that worried about keeping him they would have tendered him at a higher level. They have the 2nd highest payroll in the NFL and the cap is coming back. They will let him go if someone gives up the third rounder.

Real quick: How many RFA's for any team in the league have moved so far? Think about it. Then consider that this has been called a very deep draft, which places added value on draft picks (you don't just throw those away). Then consider that AFTER this year, when there is a new CBA, we will likely have an UFA class that is almost double the normal size. Think about it: this UFA class is tiny because players in years 4-6 were not on the market. Next year, that may not be the case, so most teams are going to take is easy in FA and wait until NEXT YEAR.

In short, there is nothing to worry about.

Visiting Lions today, which would be one of the best possible destinations on account of their having a very high pick.
