Does anyone else think that the Saints should draft Chad Jones. He is a very quick defensive player that could fit in well with our aggresive defense. Plus he could bulk up an little and we can switch him to outside linebacker. He is quick and hits hard.

i would say if our HC and GM have him as BPA at some point in the draft then they will look at him.
those two guys are not lsu homers so if it were to happen then great.

The Ruston Rifle coulda should woulda
The Colts traded Billy Newsome, 1973 fourth round pick (#86-Jim Merlo) to Saints for 1973 first round pick (#2-Bert Jones) on 1973-01-29.
Newsome had played three years for the Colts and was only a "potential" player. Two years later the saints traded him, 3 more and he was outta football. Classic Aints
