white beans on jambalaya

how many of you do this?

a friend of mine from moss bluff said he never heard of this before. i thought everybody in south louisiana did this. i'm from laplace and everybody i know in the river parishes do this. is it regional?

I don't put them on my jambalaya, but I do get a little of both on my fork.

yep. not always, but most....depends on if the loser that cooked the jambalaya made it dry!

Booty I do this..In fact, I hate eating jambalaya for the most part unless I have white beans to go with it. And Tony's..And beer.

I don't eat beans, but this weekend I did throw some rotel dip on my jambalaya. That was fricking awesome.

Sucks that my wife hates white beans. That takes it off the menu at the house.

I like them together and also separate. I wouldn't go as far as to say everyone in LA does it. I rarely see people do it actually. I personally love them together though.
