I am taking my wife to N.O. this weekend and we are in the mood for some good seafood. We will be in the French Quarter so any ideas will be helpful!

What kind of seafood do you want? If you want good seafood that represents the La/N.O. dining scene, try K-Pauls or maybe The Bon Ton.
For some differnt stuff that you don't normally see around here, try GW Fins.

If you just want your fried stuff, I say Deannies or maybe Acme if you get there when there is no wait.

Rio Mar is an option for something different.

Big Al's opened a location at 1377 Annunciation. It isn't in the French Quarter but not very far away. I haven't been to their NOLA location but the Houma ones do some good boiled and fried seafood. Guy that owns it got his start in the fur business (family were trappers) and is a seafood broker in Houma. Great people and good food.

Red Fish Grill

Their BBQ Oyster Poyboy is one of my favorite things to get in NOLA.

I agree with the Deanie's recommendation for fried seafood.

Lots of food and good quality.

Onion rings are killer too.

I just ate at GW fins recently and the food was excellent.

They had an app called sizzlin oysters i think that was pretty damn good. They change their menu up most nights so it may not be on there.

Good calls, although the past couple of trips to Remoulade the service was awful, so we haven't been back. I love watching the chef at Fins cooking on BigFish TV-he comes up with some creative ideas. And Deanies for mass quantities of fried food. Sunday lunch after a long night drinking in the Quarter.
