I am not saying bench LL, I know many of you are his supporters, but where would you hit him in the line up. The 6 hole does not seem to work for him. He seems to be "in over his head" with men on base. Would you hit him second after Watkins? I am just curious where some of you would hit him. I also seem to think "some pressure" needs to be taken off Hanover hitting #4. Your thoughts please.

IMO, Maineri, with the exception of Watkins and Dean, has the whole batting order out of wack.

I dont know why we moved gibbs out of the 4 spot to begin with.

as for leon, I dont know if he'll ever have the avg needed for that table setting 2-hole spot.

just me, but I'd go...

1 Watkins cf

4 Gibbs, c
5 Gaudet, dh
6 Hanover, 2b
7 Landry, lf
8 Diddier, 3b
9 Nola, ss

landry is to talented as a centerfielder to take him out of the game, he will come out of his slump.

But I would move Gaudt in the line up

I think he be good in a 3 4 spot infront or behind dean, Dean will be very effective if we have a solid power hitter behind him force him to pitch to him

I say

1 Watkins LF
2 Nola SS
3 Hanover 2b
4 Dean 1b
5 Gaudet DH
6 Gibbs C
7 Mahtook RF
8 Landry CF
9 Diddier 3B

landry can catch the ball. he has prob the worst arm i've ever seen out of a starting outfielder at lsu. we could move mahtook back to center and dishon to right and not miss a beat. his bat has always been a liability since he's been at lsu. all he's ever done is have a good first 3 weeks last year and a good game on sunday at bama last year.

Dishon/ Landry should be alternated in a righty/ lefty (starting) pitching matchup role.

having a good defensive CF can do alot for a baseball team hard to get deep doubles

if you think dishon would be better in the OF then landry then put him in the lineup

I tend to agree with lsufball19 in that outside of a good start last year he (LL) has done absolutly nothing. Many of you on here have played BB, those spectacular catches he some times makes is nothing but timing IMHO. I say move him to the second spot where he might see more fast balls if Watkins continues to get on base.

Well shite, I'll go:
1. Watkins
2. Nola
3. Dean
4. Gaudet
5. Mahtook
6. Gibbs
7. Hanover-he was best when lower in the lineup last year.
8. Landry
9. Delatte

Well one thing is for sure, everyone on here wants to drop LL in the lineup or put him on the pine, and move Mahtooh up in the order. Can anyone really disagree with that?
