Not yet, but I saw it's playing in my area now so I'll probably see it next weekend.

I'm sure I will eventually

But I have a feeling it will just be a Country singer version of The Wrestler

this was my first thought. It looks like the SAME movie, only with a country singer instead of a pro wrestler.

at a glance it looks like a straight ripoff of Waylon Jennings.

Ryan Bingham won a Golden Globe for the theme song or some shite. He and his band make a cameo appearance.

Don Imus was saying on his program last week that is was about Billy Jo Shaver - of course it could be Waylon or any number of the outlaw type country singers.

I didn't like this movie too much. I felt like I was watching The Wrestler again. Bridges was good as the Bad Blake though.

The critics are all saying that Bridges does a brilliant job, so I'll be checking it out sometime this week.

Saw it last night. It was great. Fan of Jeff Bridges and he did a great portrayl of stereotypical big star that loses as much as he obtains.

Music was good in it. The only country i can listen to is that genre. I like how Colin ferrel's character is more popular but less talented than his predecessar(very true to today's music - esp country).
