What is the deal with this guy? I get his love for middle Earth/ the in between world whatever he wants to call it. Just dont advertise it as a thriller or a murder mystery when more than the half the movie is about the kid in a mystical wonderland. I paid 10 bucks to see that??

Felt like a weak T Gilliam flick.

The book was amazing so I expect the movie to be as such. I'd be highly disappointed if a director I respect ruins it for me.
