No he wasn't. Read the whole story + comments. Principal clearly said what kids could wear. Kid was given a chance to remove his jersey and refused. One more strike against school personnel trying to enforce rules on shite-stirring parents.

They could have put in a room alone with the big kid in the Bobby McCray jersey.

Good for that little bastard. You come to school wearing the wrong colors you get stomped.

Hell yeah, he's lucky he got out of school without a big welt on his eye. Little prick malcontent just trying to stir a bees nest.

The rule was a jersey to support the SAINTS ! not the Colts. The kid didn't follow directions and he got just what he deserved.

Kudos to the principal.
And you gotta give props to the kid for standing up for his team.
This won't look too good for the state though--at least outside the state.
Now Go Saints!!

the principal is retard.
kid is a legit colts fan, not just a shite head trying to start trouble.

and it was not his parents. he is one year removed from legal adulthood

If the rules state you must wear a uniform or something that supports the Saints then the principal was 100% correct.

This article doesn't mention one of the things the principal told the kid. On the news, the student said that the principal told him to move back to Indiana.
Sounds like a great principal to me...trying to bully his student; not discipline him for not following the dress code.
No wonder the principal had no comment to the media.

I know it is different, but my daughter goes to a private school. They were told that they could either where their normal uniform or a Saints shirt to support the team. I have no doubt that none of the parents would have been stupid enough to send their kids to school in a Colts jersey(just a little common sense is all it requires).
