2581 = Rivals score of LSU's 2009 class
2255 = Rivals score of LSU's 2010 class.

That's the difference of one 5-star + one 3-star or two 4-stars.

if 2 years ago it was said that miles didnt play more talented freshmen over less talented upperclassmen, wouldnt that mean that that freshman is now a junior and ppl are saying the same thing?? why are we so sure that freshman is more talented?

This is good news and mitigates everyone's greatest fear -- the well has dried up. Miles is still completing 1/2 half of the circle and bringing in talent. He now has to finish the job and coach them up.

This recruiting success needs to feed itself and the catch 22 of good recruiting is that it only raises expectations.

They are not, and they are correct.

Alxtgr and I were just talking about that, when questioned, these folks can never really give a specific instance.

ESPN comment on this

Proved correctly....

1) only 2-3 recruits will see the field next year due to playing less talented upperclassmen.

2) The middle talented players will not get better under Miles while the superior talented players will become less talented.
