Greatest trade in Saints history

what do you guys think? I had totally forgot Vilma was for a 4th rounder. My opinion, thats a dam good one.

Vilma cost more than a 4. It was a 4 one year and either a 2 or a 3 the following year.

Well, the Saints website has it wrong.

The Saints gave a 3rd round pick last year to complete the Vilma trade. The Jets in turn traded the pick to the Lions.

Yeah, it became a 3rd rounder for Vilma bc Loomis waited until after free agency started to sign him. That is the reason we waited until then to re-sign him.

Shockey trade is the reason we didn't have a 2.

Which was one of the WORSE trades...Sullivan was a 'reach' in a lien draft year...
