I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with a built in web camera and I dont know how to make the built in microphone work.

I have gone into the audio settings on the computer but cant seem to get the microphone on the web camera to work.

Yeah, ive been using the Yahoo one.

I can hear and see the person but they cant hear me.

I tried going into the settings where you do the Test 1, Test 1,2 and it doesnt respond.

On the top center is the camera, just to the right is the mic.

I just updated the driver a few months ago. I updated directly from the Toshiba site.

Yes I did use the Yahoo settings, and it is trying to use the headphone/microphone jack instead of my camera one. I doesnt give me the option too.

aggrevating.

Uninstall it, do a cold boot, and let the O/S reinstall.

Can you post the Model name/number as well as the OS that you are using with service pack?

BTW if you have realtek/conexant audio drivers - you might want to double check whether you have the right drivers - sometimes auto-updates tend to not have the latest or most accurate versions.
