Wright

Why would we be upset if we got the best receiver in the state?

I would love them, and add in Boone or Ambles and I will be very happy

I honestly believe that we can get both of them as well as Boone. I just hope that some of the attention given to Reed is given to these guys.

Wright is the best WR in the state and Fobbs & Reed appear to be interchangable -- HELL YEAH I would be excited. We need another DL, LB, and OL in my opinion with 2 WR's.

I can understand losing players to elite programs, or even mid-tier SEC schools like Tennessee, but damn, do we really have to beg a kid to leave A&M for LSU. Hell, they aren't even mid-tier in the sorry arse Big 12. LSU is on National TV almost every game when A&M might not even make the cut for Dish Network every once in a blue moon. WTF?

We aren't begging, we are just making up ground. We stood by our CB offer to Fobbs for too long, he got excited at the chance to play WR at A&M, and committed. It's the same thing with any other commit, we have to show him why he should leave there and come here. It's a lot easier to get someone to just commit to us than it is to tell someone to leave a college he has grown to love

We aren't begging Fobbs. LSU did not originally recruit him as a receiver so he committed elsewhere.

Fobbs is letting things play out because he wants to be darn sure he knows what he is getting in to and things are what the coaches say they are before he commits to LSU.

He probably doesn't want to switch and then something changes at LSU and he has to change plans again.

I think he is just being prudent in his approach, which shows some maturity and thought on his part.

.....and fricks over the aggies.

I guess they have to know what we know, but just are hoping that he stays.

Not really, in the inteviews I have seen it seemed clear that he had interest in LSU.

So if A&M knows things are uncertain they should be working on a back up plan.

It's not like he is hiding the fact that he is uncertain and maintaining he is 100% solid to Texas A&M.

So I wouldn't say he is screwing them. Far from what Janzen Jackson did.

In all honesty LSU was probably slow playing him until Hunter decommited. Now they will probably give him the full coarse treatment and try to get him to commit.I hope so because I don't want to lose him because all of our energy was put into Reed and then we don't get him either.

not that high on fobbs. don't see us really utilizing him. i would be upset if we end up with fobbs and wright and missed on mike davis, justin hunter, trovon reed, boone, and markeith ambles.

hell yeah.....i'd be upset with that. no offense to fobbs and wright, but we would have been out recruited in a high needs area. never good.
