Apparently they are preparing for the noise...

Each Vikings player has been issued custom-fitted earplugs for Sunday's NFC championship game at the noisy Louisiana Superdome. The Vikings are to wear the plugs in practice this week at their bubble facility while crowd noise is blasted from amplifiers on the sidelines.

I wouldn't see why not. Sharper said that after the game, in Minne. and NO., he sometimes has loss of hearing.

this doesn't seem like a good idea to me. too hard to get the earplugs in/out to communicate.

Hopefully, it won't do them any good.

BS. None of that and no KY.

It's gonna be a rough game for the queens.

Seems to me that it just guarantees that the Vikings won't be able to hear shite. I bet Chilly thought this one up all by himself.

"Hmm, it's going to be noisy and we won't be able to hear anything. We need something to block out the noise..."

That really doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Some guys will have plugs and some won't? That sounds like a recipe for disaster when they can't communicate because they don't remember who has plugs and who doesn't.

The defense will have it made, they'll hear Favre screaming all the calls!

They've also been using custom made butt plugs for the previously mentioned arse raping that's coming. Maybe that's what Farve was preparing for when he sang "pants on the ground..."
