LSU basketball attendance...

How has the attendance been at the games? People have season tickets and just not going???

I've been to most of the games, with the exception of several in December due to the holidays, etc...
There are about 1500 to 2000 that regularly go to most of the games including me. The rest are pretty much fair weather fans that only show up when we are putting up W's.

LSU basketball sounds like it is on life support. Centenary used to bring in more people than that.

They will get better next year with some influx of new recruits. Trent is trying to build a program and not just band-aid fix every year. That's why he held back on the scholly he could have used to add another player this year.

Maybe we can add a LSU ticket dump section on the Ticket Exchange. I'm sure there are some people that would love to go to a game for free

It's been poor, but the product has been poor. LSU looks terrible this year, so you can't really hold it against people for not going since this is a football school. At least people are still buying the tickets.

And also a very true thing to say. Now we are a winning basketball team school. That would be more accurate.

I am a season tix holder and I just cant make everygame. Hell I left drill early to go to the Alabama game. Normally my dad or someone else will use my tix's if I can not go. Tried to give two away yesterday afternoon but no one wanted them.
Me and the wife are expecting our first child in the coming months so when she does not feel like going then it normally does not happen.

Why is it dumb to say this? Look at AR, they have sucked for years now and watch the game tonight. They may not be sold out but it will be very loud and mostly packed. LSU is coming off a great season and th PMAC was pitiful last night. Very simple: LSU fans love footall, baseball, and basketall when they are winning.

Things change and evolve. I'm way over 15 and really enjoyed watching the game last night but to be coming off a very good season, that was pitiful looking last night.
Army has a good football tradition too but that doesn't do much for them now.
