For the few of you on this board interested in boxing,
Jermaine Taylor has pulled out of the Super Six Middleweight Tourny. He was badly KO'd by Aurthor Abraham in the tourny's first round a few months back. A substitute top 10 fighter will take his spot, but it hasnt yet been announced who.
Friday Night Fights on ESPN 2: Featherweight Juan Carlos Burgos (23-0,16 KOs) headlines tonights card. Burgos is a young, fringe top 10 contender. He has yet to step up and fight someone with a pulse though, so his true talent is still questionable (He is, however, ranked #1 by one sanctioning body, but thats just utter stupidity right there. He hasnt earned that respect yet). The biggest talent on the card is undercard fighter Demetrius Andrade (8-0, 6 KOs). He is a former US olympian. He is still gaining experience, but looks legit (against limited opposition so far).
Fox Sports Net live boxing series premiering tomorrow: Bob Arum and Top Rank Boxing will promote a new series that will show live fights on FSN once a month on a Sat night. Tomorrows fights feature former U.S. Olympian, 154 pound Vanes Martirosyan (26-0, 17 KOs) against ex-world champion Kassim Ouma (26-6-1, 16 KOs) and highly regarded featherweight prospect Mikey Garcia (18-0, 15 KOs) against Joksan Hernandez (17-1, 10 KOs). This FSN card is the best boxing card this weekend.

Should be good fight card but we will learn little because none of these guys will be tested.
Waiting on Jan 30 for Mosley and Berto. This fight will be great and I feel that Berto has more of a chance than people are giving him credit for. He will push Mosley and it should make for a great fight.
Would love to see Mayweather fight either of these two guys.

This will be a great fight. This is on HBO, not PPV right?

HBO. And I think Mayweather ducks either of these fighters.

I surely hope he doesn't. I think Floyd is one of the most talented boxers ever and it will be a shame if he does not fight a top fighter in his next bout.
I am a huge Mayweather fan and I will give him a pass on Pac Man fight because I feel he and his camp know something about Manny using. That being said he really needs to step up and fight a true welterweight in his next fight.
