Payton and Loomis are geniuses. This will blow the top off the dome bringing the crowd into the game with an extra emotional edge. That's the only reason. Payton is trying to seal it up and give the fans even more of a "steroid shot" to get insane. nice move.

he'll play. he can probably pass protect better than the other running backs and also play some fullback
