49ers defensive tackle Ricky Jean-Francois is waiting to hear about the status of his grandmother and cousins who reside in the Haitian capital of Port-au Prince.
Jean-Francois' brother said that the city of 2 million has been flattened.
"In Haiti, everything is made out of cement," Jean-Francois said, per Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee. "There are barely any houses left standing."
