Going to Nashville and looking for a nice place to eat.

It will be on Valentine's Day and me and my wife's 1 Year Anniversary. She likes Italian but is open to other options. We're staying downtown and would like to eat nearby.

I'm considering; Valentino's, Sole Mio, Maggiano's, and Stock Yard.

Anyone eaten at any of these restaurants or have any suggestions?

Maggiano's is one of my favorites (even though it's a chain). The chicken saltimbuco is delicious. I have heard excellent reviews about Valentino's but I have not dined there.

Not sure about your V-Day meal, but I'd definitely go to Loveless Cafe sometime during your stay...

+1 on the Loveless Cafe. It's out of the way, but you get to see where the Natchez Trace ends. It'd be a nice stop on your way back home.

A really good breakfast place that seems like all the Vandy students go is Pancake Pantry. To me it was delicious. Cinnamon syrup is outstanding.

Didn't get to go. I suggested plenty places that were listed in my thread last week, but was shot down on every one. Unfortunately we were passengers and our driver wasn't too comfortable driving in snow so we were very limited.
