So with Trindon and Chad Jones leaving, who is going to be the number one punt return guy?

I believe Taylor returned kicks with Trindon last year, but who else do we have that can be effective?

Shep maybe? If they indeed want to make him into the "Percy Harvin" role wouldn't he get some opportunities back there?

Shep would be a logical choice.

Ron Brooks is a pretty good kick returner, but he is not the home run threat that Holiday was. Teams were legitimately scared of kicking off to Holiday. I would like to see guys like Drayton Calhoun, Jhryn Taylor, and John Williams get some looks at kickoff returns in the future practices.

Just a guess but I'm thinking Shepard, Ron Brooks and maybe this kid that committed from Miami, Jakhari (spelling?) Gore? But he'd be a true freshman and we all know how that goes with Miles....

Brooks, Shep, and Calhoun are all good candidates

Gore too, but I think he'll redshirt

Yeah id say they would plan on using Gore. Thats probably what they recruited him for.Not sure if he'd start right off the bat or if they plan on waiting to see how it goes then if it gets to bad put him in.

John Williams. Best kick off and punt returner from Acadiana area since Kevin Faulk.

I would like to see Shep if going to be used as Utility player.

Richard Murphy or Mike Ford

That's who I am curious to see with the ball. Shep would be my first choice to take over as punt returner.

Are you kidding! L.M. and his staff are too worried about a player making one mistake but coming back to be great and improving every game if they were coached up. I suppose it is too much work (or they are too complacent) for them to work with the proper players in all phases of the game.
