Miles isn’t as worried about the method as the outcomes, and he left little doubt about where he wants every season to wind up.
from the advocate.

The key point here is that most successful coaches are process oriented. There is a certain process or method that if followed will lead to success.Miles is he kind of coach who focuses more on the results not on what it takes to achieve those results.

I have stated this in previous posts, and IMO is at the root of the problem. Miles is happy to win by 1 point or in overtime, even to a lesser opponent. He needs to embrace completely dominating and destroying an opponents will, something he has not done for years since probably in '06.

Absolutely agree!

The individuals who achieve success in any area of life are usually process-focused. This goes for Coaches, Businesspeople, Athletes, even relationships like marriage.

How many times have I heard my friends complain that they are broke? Yet, they continue to spend and spend like they are Bill Gates. Hey dumbass, you need to SAVE to achieve the RESULT of being wealthier.

LSU needs to fix their glaring deficienices before they are achieve better results.

Miles's attitude is why he won't ever win another championship at LSU. Outside of Chik-Fil-A Championships

Now lets see, who has championed this philosophy, with much success? Dare we say?

Les has a problem managing his subordinates in a profession oriented sense. He knows the game, knows what it takes to win but when the moment of truth comes where he needs to act as the CEO, he faulters.
He needs some conflict management training to get him over the percieved conflict he seems to be avoiding.
How many guys on here would have a problem telling Crowton where to get off ? Not many !

He doesn't know how to do it... exactly. that's what he needs to learn, how to deal with it.
