Football Coaches Salaries

I feel like we are paying $300 for a stale loaf of bread at Wal Mart. The mindset of the athletic dept at LSU in regards to football is throw more money at it and the problem will go away and it is a carrover from the Skip Bertman days.

Not just Miles. Coaching salary inflation at LSU now applies for position coaches. Position coaches, not even coordinators, are making $300k. Does the equipment manager make that too?

I think back to Jerry Stovall and he only made something like $75,000 a year as head coach.

Man, that is SO well put. It's ok that we can't fire him right now. As long as we do soon. For some reason LSU ignore the signs of incompetence. We were so good in 2007 that we didn't need a coach. With Les even that team had 2 loses.
