Ever since reading belowpar's post on GC leaving and then hearing today from Shreveport that he would be fired, I'd love to know at least what type of sources these were. Belowpar, who has gotten everything right in the past (at least from what I've read on here), and now this guy who reports from Shreveport who says his source has never gotten anything wrong, have now made the first wrong call on a coaching situation. Something has got to be going on. But, maybe not and all of this is just hearsay.

Pretty sure there may be some smoke to the Crowton to the NFL stuff. Not sure how it will play out, but we can hold out hope for a few more days

Remember "Miles to Michigan"? Just because it may not happen doesn't mean it wasn't true.

Gator board reports Crowton to the Chicago Bears and Kragthorpe (Louisville) will be the new OC at LSU.

Its all about money right now. Some top tier donors, one of which is my source (big time doctor in BR hint hint), says they will pay but no figure is reached.

If he is gone, it WILL be Kragthorpe.

Says who will pay for what?

He says the donors are will to pay to get rid of Crowton?

Some donors don't want to fork out money now and possibly have to fork out bigger money at the end of the 2010 should an OC change not work out for Miles and the result be the same.

There is a want to buyout Crowton.

However, the mind is willing, but the checkbook is weak.
