How Many Coach's Have Won 2 Natl' Titles?

Out of the last 50 or more years, only 18 have managed to do this...the odds of winning a national title year in and year out are small.Despite what the gumps think, no team will dominate college football with titles in the future...

Look out.
Gumps are into the Koolaid big time.
They have the Great Saban leading them back to the promised land of Bryant.

Ummm
Texas
Miami
USC
LSU
Florida
Oklahoma
All these have either done it or come close. Maybe not year after year but once every 4 yrs is a possibility

Normally Ide say you are right.
But if 1 school/coach can
!) Control the Refs
2) Control the SEC commish
3) Change your teams schedule after its out already to your liking
4) Change rules for the entire league to benefit your team (See #3)
And that coach is at a school where breaking probation for cheating only gets a slap in the wrist. And than that school files a lawsuit against NCAA for said slap on the wrist.
Said Coach and school can make it up as they go along ......well more NC may come all be it with more ********(asterisks by them.)

18*2 = 36 (worst case assuming no coach won more than 2)
36/50 = 72%
So at least 72% of MNCs have been won by coaches with multiple MNCs. You data doesn't support your assertion.

and if you are half as smart as you think you are, you wouldn't be here posting on a board, you'd be making money for your opinion...

yea, they don't realize how short life can be and in a flash something good can vanish without good notice. all things must end!
all I want is LSU to do is return to respectability and not the but end of jokes of the media and other fans around the country.

Answer me this: Has Miles had a better year during his tenure here than Gerry D had in 1996?

Please stop, you are making yourself look stupid to anyone else reading this thread.
First off, journalists are typically not paid for their opinion. Second, I bet I make a lot more than whoever wrote that article, although unlike you I don't believe that validates anything. Most important, statistics ARE NOT OPINIONS. If you have half a brain, you can attempt to make an intelligent argument instead of name calling.

elusee...what kind of a-hole are you?...no wonder this board is going to hell in a handbasket....

Paterno, Bowden, Meyer, Holtz. That is all that comes to mind. I am sure I am leaving off a few. Bear Bryant is another. Not many recently though other than Meyer.

That's the point of the thread, there are not that many,...so to expect it, is ludicrous. However, you do, as a fan, expect the team to look better than we have this year, compeating...

So you make a dig on a guy and when he responds to it you call him an a-hole?
