Don't get me wrong I'm not a "negatiger", I think that if the proper changes are made then this team can excel for the next 3 years and beyond.. But the one thing I feel like has been missing on this team has been the swagger on D we had when Marcus Spears, Laron Landy, etc. were laying the wood on people. Peterson and Jones bring a little of it to the secondary but I just don't see it anywhere else. This type of "beat me if you can" aggressive mindset on defense is what truly makes a dominant defense and I wish we saw it more this year.. Hopefully we can regain that swagger next year and dominate..

Because nothing says swagger like Chase Clement. We have fallen so far so fast. As a team and as a fanbase.

an aggressive style of defense would bring the swagger back. A stout line trying to push upfield to get to the quarterback, a blitz coming from a cb, and playing man to man bump n run on the WRs.

We havent had a chance to get the "swagga"...you have to have fun to have that attitude..you have to feel like you have a chance to dominate..without an offense to help out, how can a D gather their breath to have enough energy to look crazy and get pumped..their to busy winning the games for us..we get a good Offense, we will see our old Defense

What a joke...swagger. The new tigertard catchphrase of the season. I dont ever remember Pelini or Saban mentioning this. I do remember them stressing discipline, assignments etc...

I agree with Tigerbru. Florida's lowest scoring games of the season? LSU & Alabama (13 points each). Alabama's lowest scoring games of the season? SC (20), Ole Miss (22), and LSU (24). That's two of the top teams in the country that were held to well below their averages. The defensive line could be better, but the defense is much improved over last season's.
