What are the odds GC takes the QB coach job in CHI?

Just curious. I won't give up on getting that dumb arse out of LSU until the 1st day of spring ball.

crowton was OC there before he went to BYU, had a pretty decent offense, lovie may want him back

yeah I know he was there, but I don't think he's coached with Lovie nor do I think the current front ofc ppl were there back then. I'm all for Gary leaving though, so hey, they can have him back.

Correct. Jerry Angelo became GM in 2001, the year after Crowton left for BYU.
Even still, Crowton does have ties to the team and was really successful there with less talented QBs than Jay Cutler.

If the Bears were smart they'd load up on defensive talent for next year. Hire Crowton, get his one great year out of him and send him packing.
