MW2 voice chat

If you start an xbox party then enter game groundwar for instance does everyone on your team hear your chat or just party members?
I never really used voice much cause my original mic echoed but have the turtle beach one now. My brother just got his copy back from our bro in law and we just talk about random stuff when playing spec ops, wondering if we can still do that without annoying everyone else

If you are in party chat only your xbox party can hear you. Not the team party.

Ok I just got my PS3 and MW2 and now have a grand total of 4 kills.. 
BUT PLEASE PLEASE turn off your fricking music while playing. Why do people do this? Like I want to hear your shite.. even worse when some foreign douche plays all his crazy shite for everyone to hear.

So you can mute individuals? Or you have to mute the whole game? I may have to look into it.

i think square mutes a person when you press select to view the scoreboard during a game
in the lobby go to that person's name and hit square for options and toggle mute is an option
