Don't Go Back to that Old Saints Thinking

Today's game was rough to say the least. It sucked for every Saints fan out there. I've taken some time to actually write this post because honestly ,like the rest of Who Dat nation, I was pretty upset. What we could all do (and what many are doing right now) is throw in the towel for this team. It seems reasonable considering they are falling apart lately. But going back into that hole of "this is the old Saints" sucks.
Yes, I'm well aware there are lots of reasons to think "the Saints will disappoint again!" But in all honesty that sort of destructive thinking is such a pain. So for the first time in a while when the chips are done I will be optimistic. I'm sure there are many reasons not to be optimistic or to continue to believe this is the beginning of the end, but again that sort of thinking sucks and brings back too many bad memories for all of us.
Even if they do lose to Carolina the team will still be in the postseason. At the end of the day they'll have a shot in the postseason regardless of Week 17's outcome and that's one positive.
Bottom line, hope for the best and don't continue to dwell in the negative. They lost, it's over, move on.

I agree to an extent. Next week's game is HUGE. They need to play well and get a win. Otherwise, I'm thinking we get handled easily in the playoffs.
