I just moved to Little Rock and am dreading registering my truck in Arkansas. I spent good money to get my Louisiana - LSU license plate and want to represent as much as possible here. Does anyone know if Arkansas offers LSU tags like other SEC states?

What part of Little Rock are you living in. I spend alot of time there with family. My Uncle has always represented his cars with car decals and flags at his house. They really don't like when you blow up your 8 ft inflatible tiger after the ARK/LSU game. Put it this way, if you hated Arkansas before moving there, you will hate them even more after living there. Great state, fans are idiotic.

Near North Little Rock, I've had a good experience so far. Gave a "Tigahs" to a guy in
Best Buy wearing an LSU sweatshirt (in the middle of last minute Christmas shopping during a flash flood)

I've actually had a lot of compliments on my white LSU cap. Some are from genuine LSU fans and some are questionable

Get so many signatures on a petition and you can bring the LSU plates to Arky.

Agreed! Lived AR for 20 years and for the past 10. Everyone just loves my 6x6 Christmas yard sign that read "Merry Christmas" with a giant tiger on it. I'll sign for LSU tags

Been here for 13 years. Most delusional fan base I've ever seen, 'cept maybe for Alabama.
Love to listen to drive time sports. They hate LSU and Miles with a passion. Whats funny is most of them would rather play in the Cotten Bowl than the Sugar Bowl. LOL.

I'm not sure about the process involved but remember threads for getting them in Mississippi. Maybe contact the DMV for more information.

Surprised about the Arky fan comments. The ones I've met/sat by at games were all class.

Just found this:

quote:

Speciality Plates and Placards
Arkansas offers many special license plates for our citizens to put on their vehicles. These plates represent colleges and universities, branches of the military and special interest organizations such as conservationists, professional organizations and hobbyists. All of these plates are issued through the Special License Office, with the exception of Congressional Medal of Honor, Handicapped and National Guard.

Thanks for the info!

I'll call on Monday and look into it.

I found some contact info for the president of the Little Rock chapter of LSUAA. Email was rejected by recipient, but I left a voicemail, so hopefully I'll hear something.

There are no LSU plates. The college plates are for schools in Arkansas.

Which email did you try? It was lsualumnilr@yahoo.com. The AA is pretty loosely organized around here, but they do have an annual crawfish boil and have viewings for football games at a local restaurant. We've met some pretty nice people.

You will grow to hate the piggies, just like everyone else said.

I tried the email address that was listed on the LSUAA website (brad.feller@comcast.net). I'll try the one you provided and see if it works, thanks!
