10 years ago we were all freaked out that the y2k bug would shut down commerce and sick and tired of "1999" by Prince.

None of us would have predicted that LSU would win not one, but two, national championships,Three sec championships, and three sugar bowls.

So here's to the coaches, players and fans that made this the best decade ever to be a fan of LSU football.

It is not over yet. Next year is the last year of the decade.

Did LSU win five National Ch. in Baseball last decade? or, Did they win two this decade?

2001 was the first year of the decade.

No genius, new decade starts with 0. Was 1980 part of the 70s? No, it was the first year of the 80s. Similarly, 2010 will mark the begining of a new decade.

Lsu won 5 baseball national championships in 10 years, but they did not all occur in the 1990s.

It's nice to reflect on something positive with all the negativity flying around. This truly was a great decade for us. Here's hoping for more of the same in the teen decade!

quote:

No genius, new decade starts with 0.
The first decade AD started with 1 (there was no year 0).

The 201st decade started with 2001.
