Good question, IF he qualifies for the fall I'd like to see him get a shot at it.

only if James Wright, Fobbs, or Jones don't commit before NSD.

the only reason I think simon would project to DB would be if he has hands of bricks.

What about Mo Claiborne? Is there a chance he could play on offense next year?

Well I've watched him enough to know he doesnt have brick hands, and I would imagine they would put Simon on offense before Claiborne

Been saying he's a WR. It would be great to have someone that size playing D-back,but C'mon, the dude's a WR. Look at his clips on Offense,he's going to be great if he can just make the grades.

yeah, he should be a WR in light of our recent overcommitment. I think you could compare him to DeAngelo Perterson. Big frame and natural athlete.

On a side note, I think that Peterson will be a WR/TE this upcoming season in the mold of Antonio Gates of the SD Chargers. (In role, not in production). While he will be listed at TE, be pretty much will add depth to WR corps as well.

I don't follow recruiting like most of you losers, but I never understood why he wasn't going to be a WR all along.

i just think he fits the profile..height, size speed....not sure about his hands but if he plays CB or FS he must have pretty good hands...

Any indications that Simon will qualify?

All signs seem to point to the contrary.

With the decommitment of Davis and Reed and Fobbs committed elsewhere, I believe Simon will be a WR.

Furthermore, Wright wants to be a pharmacist according to his Scout profile and LSU has no school of pharmacy. You have to go to Xavier or NELA (ULM).

Doubt he goes to Xavier or ULM. He can look at that if he can't get into the league, and there's no reason to think he can't if he wants it bad enough.
