I got two bottles for Pennsylvania Dutch Egg Nog from my parents house that are probably a few years old. They have been sitting in the liquor cabinet and don't have an expiration date on them. Any wany of telling if they are expired? I know alcohol like Whiskey doesn't expire, but I was curious about this. They are 14.5% alcohol if that matters.

Rookie.

It only expires when you expire.

Have they been opened? If not I would give it a shot. If it still tastes good, what's the problem?

if it is bad, it should be seperated... you will be able to tell without even opening the bottle...

fwiw, I had a bottle of that last year...pretty damn strong tasting shite....I am used to something a little thicker and sweeter....

Yes it will go bad for sure. But, if it was vaccum sealed then the spoiling process may have been completely halted until you crack it
