Ridley made a comment that Murphy was ahead of him when he was at this point. So I would say it is going very well considering how fast Ridley came back.

Will Murphy play next year regardless of rehab?

I hope Murphy comes back next yr with the medical redshirt. I haven't lost hope on him yet.

I have high hopes for Murphy. He is being looked past for the first time now that Ridley and Ford have the spotlight for next year. In previous years Murphy has been dubbed our savior post-spring game. I think he does pretty damn well next year.

I don't think he ever got a chance as a featured back. Scott and Williams both started ahead of him and while he would get a few carries here or there, you could see he was trying too hard.

I think RM is a good, natural back who deserves his fair share of carries if healthy next year.

He should be back in time to keep his status as the greatest spring game back ever..

a pretty fair assessment of his star-crossed career...so far. it seems like every time I saw him he was a bit too upright and would slip whenever he made a cut. I hope the kid comes back next season and wow's us all.

He's not getting another redshirt, and doesn't need one. 2009 was only his third year in four. He will get his 4th year in five next season, which will be his last unless he gets injured again.

Ford and Shep will get the bulk of the carries next year I hope. Murph will be nice to have as the senior leader used on third down some. I don't see Ridley as the starter over Ford and Shepard. He could see some time on the field in short yardage situations.
