that really follow college football do you think feel that Miles is the best coach to bring LSU back to elite status (top 5 perennially) & another Nat'l Ship in the next 3-5 yrs?

just throw a percentage out there, it's just an opinion poll

Supporting him and thinking he is the best for the job are 2 completely different things.

I support him because he is the coach of my team.....but in no way do I think he is the best for the job.

CLM already had his prime as LSU's head coach from 2005-2007. Don't picture him with a comeback style coaching career at LSU.

Do I suport him? Yes I do. Even with his confusing language and coaching fok up's, I still like the guy.

I really really follow football especially LSU. I also think that by far the majority support Miles. I would say that would be 80%. But i will also say that probably 80% who do not support Miles, supported him 2 years ago. I also think he gives us a chance as the top 5 and Natl ship, but i don't think he is the best coach but he certainly gives us a pretty good chance.

The fact that we have to be "brought back" to elite status speaks volumes

BRV..I thought we established in that other thread that this message board would not qualify as a representative sample unless you could prove that each poster is a unique individual. So this still wouldn't prove the other comment (can't remember if it was you or someone else, and too lazy to look it up) about 40 - 60% of the fans wanting Miles replaced.

By the way, if you do want to consider this as proof then the 40-60% of fans thinking he is ruining the program or no longer supporting the program....then that hypothesis isn't looking good.

You stole my 40% idea from another thread and repositioned it as your own, but ok, I'll play.

By the way, your poll question is loaded from the get go.....I guess I am not allowed to answer the poll question because in answering one would essentially be agreeing that we have fallen from elite status....we are down for the last 2 years yes, but we are still an elite program.

Also, to assess whether the 40% estimate is accurate or not, you cannot say "what percentage blah blah blah?". To conduct a proper poll, your question would have to be more along the lines of "Do you support Miles as HC of LSU?" or something along those lines, then use the number of response for each answer to determine the percentage.

Statistics class can work wonders if you pay attention.

why do you people keep saying this stuff?

nobody here says that Miles is the best coach in football. a lot of people do say that he is a good coach and capable of keeping us a winner. why is that so hard to understand?

Thank you Mr. Rasmussen, or is it Gallup? Your award for self righteous post of the year is in the John Brady wing of the LSU Sports Museum.

Dude, we are on a damn message board. The entire purpose is for people to come on and speculate.

Jeez.
