You're an idiot. While Nutt certainly has some strange ability to make Miles his bitch, we weren't playing with Saban's recruits this year. I think Charles Alexander was the only player on the roster recruited by Saban. And Miles had a better season against a tougher schedule than Nutt did. Miles isn't the best coach in the SEC, but I would take him over Houston Nutt any single day of the week.

When UM offensive linemen Bradley Sowell and John Jerry were suspended a game for academic issues, the coach said he would have been able to handle things differently at Arkansas, but his hands were tied because of the school’s academic policies.


Nutt said no specifics were discussed, but academics would be very important part of building the program. The Rebels lose three scholarships for the upcoming recruiting class because of a low APR score, largely a by-product of the Ed Orgeron era.

The SEC is widely considered the toughest conference in the country from top to bottom and Nutt must compete with the likes of Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Arkansas and Mississippi State in the Western Division.
