Someone mentioned Petrino was checking him out...
The only way he gets a Hog offer is if Mallett does indeed go pro..
However, Clint Trickett looks to make an official now to Arkansas...We were one of his first offers until FSU and UF came in...
I would see him getting the nod over Briscoe

Well if he doesn't go this year...he's for sure going next year...so I wouldn't think this would be a factor.

We are set at QB next year...We'll get one of Fazier and Allen or Both...Both 4* or higher
We won't take a QB this year...The only way is if Mallett goes pro....The Trickett situation could throw a monkey wrench into that plan if he indeeds wants to commit

i saw briscoe play 3 times this year since moving to central. he is a good qb but not D-1 material. he has an average arm and plays in a great system. he throws alot of short routs and has quick recivers that turn those plays into TD's

I hear he has an offer from every state school, don't know if this includes La Tech, if so then that wouldn't be a bad choice.

Then that wouldn't be what Petrino is looking for...He prefers the verticle game and needs a QB with a strong arm

He might not have the zip that some QBs have but Briscoe can throw the ball 50 - 60 yards with ease.
