You're two for two. You ruined Lee last year and Jefferson looks worst than he did week one. He walks around in a daze on the sideline. Hell half the time he looked like he didn't want to be out there.

Jefferson could be a really good quarterback, if changes occur.

Please get rid of this clown, LSU!

Does a guy that helped us win a national title deserve to be called a clown? I don't think so.

How does the expression go, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. JJ is really limiting what Crowton can call. Unfortunatley, he's the best we've got. But he needs lots of improvement.

+ 1
until I see some innovation in the play calling and the relationship between play calling and formations...way too predictable

I do not care about "just the wins", so please do not start quoting the 10 wins stuff...
we do not have a good Off.

Crowton's sorry arse is the QB coach. Is he going to shoulder the blame for our QBs regressing? I certainly hope he doesn't ruin Garrett.

Hey Josh 336 you're right he did help us win a title. So now we should be the worst offense in the country and getting worse by the game. Good logic dude, maybe your his grad assistant or something.

or, could it be
that JJ can only do some of the things that GC insists on doing ???

a good coach adapts his game so as to maximize the abilities of his QB instead of forcing him to do things for which he is not ready......

so, you guys decide where the blame lies.

I see a lot of problems with our play calling,
I also see some re-occurring bad habits with JJ, which need correcting by him or coaching.

JJ better than Mallett last night.

Of course Petrino is a genius, so that DID NOT happen....did it?

face it, neither JJ nor JLee will ever be drafted. We missed on both of these QB's. Not Crowton's fault that these guys can't find success when given the opportunity. Though it is fair to place some blame on the O line, but not all. Crowton's already proved what he can do with a capable QB.

you are right, calling him names like an immature child is better than just hoping they make a change at the end of the season and wishing the guy well in future endeavors

My complaint with Crowton is the fact everyone knows what play he going to run based on formation. Nothing changes. Nothing.

All that said I am not for jettison him yet. It really hurts a teams continuity from year to year if we keep changing staff all the time.

Can Crowton recruit? This is the real question.

Miles says Jefferson is 'somethin special' but I don't see it - yet.

how do you know that? who told you that? you can't possibly know that just from a facial expression.....look at Spurriers face, he looks like he is pissed off all the time, but you know he's not....

The blame lies with Crowten and his inability to mold a game plan with the talent, and talent limitations, he has on the field. Our offensive coaching has been...offensive this year.

time will tell on this...but neither are very good right now, but neither is our OL..

bad OL=bad QB play, bad QB play makes bad OL look worse, a bad OL and bad QB play= killer for the OC..
