Nick or Urban saw what it takes to beat texas, courtesy of TAMU. The Florida and Bama defensive units would/will stop them.

Great game Ags...played your hearts out.

I say Florida yes because Tebow is a smart player and can make ANY team look bad. Don't count out McCoy, he can play with anbody as well.

Saban to arrogant and will let his protege get to him when he stops alabama's only weapon.

Fine logic there

I think Bama has amuch better chance than FLA to beat Texas. They have the type of offense taht will keep McCoy of the field.

Bama also has the type of offense that won't find the endzone much. I give UF a better shot.

I was surprised to see A&M ranked 7th in total offense this season. But their D is ranked in the bottom 15. aTm had numerous dropped interceptions that could have really changed the outcome of that game. That being said I can see Nick rolling out the same type of gameplan we had against Oklahoma in 2004.

Trust me, Florida and Bama didn't need TAMU to show them anything.

Texas will not be able to run the ball from the QB position, and will fail miserably in trying to score enough points to keep up with Florida and Bama.

A&M had several opporunities to return quick McCoy passes for TD's, but just didn't have the skill at those positions.

Futhermore, A&M's secondary looked like they were suffering from Rickett's Disease. I truly have not seen that poor of play from the secondary all season at any level. They were astronomically overmatched.

The BCSNCG has the makings of one of the most boring matchups since the USC vs. Oklahoma game. Tune in next Sat. for the real championship game.

...not really...TAM played emotional out their arse over=their-heads. Remember, THE only thing that matters all season - AT ALL - to Aggies is the UT game. They are OBSESSED with The 'Horns. Its unhealthy, even.... plus it was a short 3 day week before game. Now, .with a month to prepare - the BCSCG will be a toss up, no matter who gets in to play UT ( IF they get by Nebraska. :-)
...The SEC is down this year. Sorry. Its troo.

You don't think UF's offense could keep Texas off the field? Tebow and Co make a living off that dive play that will gash Texas for 4 yards here and 5 yards there, just like the did to LSU.

Stupid because I don't think that Texas matches up well with either Florida or Alabama?

The game will be no closer than last year's matchup.

SEC by more than a TD.

What do you want on it?

Exactly. I mean Bama's looked so dominant against Tenn and Auburn (and, yes, both of those teams are better than A&M, but it's not like either are great).

OSU won a NC by game after game beating some good, some mediocre, and some plain ole bad teams in dramatic fashion. UT plays one bad game (on the road against a rival), comes out on top, and that means they're going to get smoked in the NC?

Did you think Ohio State matched up well with Miami, The Giants with New England?

Well, most didn't think last year's game would be that close, like they say, that's why they play the games.

The SEC will not be playing in the BCS CG, Florida or Alabama will. If the entire SEC was playing against Texas, I agree Texas would have no chance.
