started as a true freshman at right guard for A&M last night. He was supposedly too short. He is listed at 6'2 and 312lbs.

He and Michael should be in the P&G.

Coaches dropped the ball. I would like Matt Allen back also.

A player who could start as a true freshman at Texas A&M does not mean he would be a starter at LSU.

A&M last by 60 points to OK and is not a good team.

Michael should be a Tiger, not Lewis.

Patrick Lewis in no where near 6'2. he was the smallest lineman on the field last night. he looked like a midget out there.

I did not say he would be a starter. I just mentioned him because Michael was getting attention as a guy we passed on. I have no way to tell if he is any better than the guys we have.

I do, however, find it amusing that we passed on this guy because of his height, yet we play the lightest guys we have on the interior line. Except when we kick extra points, we put the big guys in. The coaches don't think that our starters are the best for extra point protection, but they are the best to get us a 3rd and one. Of course, I know nothing about evaluation of offensive lineman. But since our offense is ranked in the 100's, I am not sure what our offensive coaches know.

yeah but if Lyle Hitt were to start as a freshman at another school such as Texas A&M, rantards would bitch about how Miles let home-grown talent from Baton Rouge leave the state
