Best Smoked Sausage

My vote for the very best tasting smoked sausage in the area is Veron's Supermarket in Lutcher. Not to be confused with the original Veron's Provision, this local homemade sausage is great!
And the stuffed pork chops are to-die-for, as well.

I've got great family there and get a couple of boxes every time I visit. Good stuff.
I've also gotten really good stuff in Washington, and there's place in Opelousas I think... something with "Block" in the name... "Butcher Block" maybe? Not sure.

In the old Pac-a-Sac, I used to walk and get an ICEE there when I was a kid...
Drive across town next time to Meche's on Landry St. and ask for the hot sasauge.
