Just what we need. Starting a 3rd season in a row breaking in a new QB. JJ needs much improvement with his pocket presence, but I'd like to stick with him for a while. I'm hoping he develops into an All SEC performer.

And ANOTHER thinly-veiled JJ bashing thread!

You're right, and I'll add that last year everyone was calling for JJ because of JL's performance. Now that JJ's not turned in all-world numbers (though not nearly as bad as many would have us believe), they're now calling for CG. I'd probably piss myself at the fan reaction if they got their wish and CG didn't pan out to their expectations either.

You know what the big knock on Crowton at Oregon was?

Hint: It had to do with a guy named Dennis Dixon that was later a ripped ACL away from a heisman and a BCSCG

the coaching sucks.

if he's going to get better, it's going to be on him.

maybe there's some youtube video's he can watch.

because the coaches sure as hell aren't teaching him anything.

Chances are you're VERY hard to impress then. Jefferson is our quarterback until he struggles to the point where it costs us games. And I don't see any indication that something like this will happen anytime soon.

As long as he keeps progressing, he'll be a very solid quarterback next year. I do hope Garrett can make a push for the backup quarterback though.

I agree. Jefferson is NOT the guy that will get it done at LSU. He is as bad as Jarret was last year, just in different ways. He makes really bad decisions when running the ball on the option, taking sack after sack and just not being a leader. Obviously Lee's misfortunes with INT's has him overly cautious passing the ball so he doesn't throw those, but I think as a result the kid is extremely tentative. He doesn't look at all relaxed and he's had plenty of time this year to get past that and he simply hasn't . I agree that it is time to see what someone else not named Jarrett Lee can do.

You don't think his horrid play had anything to do with the losses to Uf and Ole Miss?

Now, someone controlling this site doesn't like what my opinions are. The are simple, do something good for the Tiger Nation; the sport that supports all other sports and gives quality athletes scholarships. Brings many to the next level in their sport. But I am just a fool ... fo thinking that someone with balls would catch on and steam roll a good plan out?

With that:
As kings and queens’ confidants, jesters often developed deep friendships with them. The royals often became tired of the false compliments and praise from their many lackeys and valued a connection with these offbeat performers, who, between witty wisecracks, would share very valuable insights. After all, many truths have been spoken in jest, and many lies have been spoken in earnest. (This isn't happening in the times of greedy people?) But, fwiw

Exactly, this coaching staff has done a terrible job with our young quarterbacks.
