It's beyond me how you could be the best cover corner in America and not be a top 100 player...

yea I guess coverage doesn't really factor in to a CB evaluation

evaluating how a prospect performs the primary and fundamental task associated with his position is overrated.

Exactly. Makes no frickin' sense.

"Well, Mathieu can cover anyone in the nation on a given night. He'll shut down half of the field in college. He's a decent prospect. Low 4-star."

I think you need to ask West Monroe about that, I'm sure they have him as a 5* after he almost singlehandedly beat them last night. Had a pick-6 to go with everything else he did..

Exactly and he's done that to everyone all year.

Oh well, I'm not worried about his ranking. Kid will be an absolute stud.

my guess is that he moves up into the 140 -175 range on the next rivals update. he has moved from 3 star to 4 star (outside 250) to no. 238 on rivals . He has momentum and I don't think rivals can justify the top cover (most important trait of a cb) corner being rated no. 238.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Milliner is a farce of a 5 star CB.

Fight me.
