Is there an Oxford bar where LSU fans will be gathering?

There are plenty of bars. I bet tons of LSU fans end up at The Library as it is by far the biggest of bars.

Ill edit some more in I guess:

The Lyric- huge music venue (Friday-Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Saturday-Perpetual Groove)

The Levy- Freshman bar if you want young poonanny

Rooster- Blues bar above Ajax. Super cool place

City Grocery- Small, chill place above restaurant

Burgundy Room- Small, chill place above Old Venice

Ghost Soldier- new bar, kinda sucks other side of Irie

Irie- new bar/restaurant, great beers on tap list

Downtown Grill- Small, nice place

Proud Larrys- Good music, good vibes

Frank and Marleys- New piano bar, pretty fricking cool

Two Stick- Small, chill sushi joint during day but good music at night

The Pub- Cool place with drink specials next to two stick

The Cellar- in alley hidden and small, but can be fun

Redhouse- good drink specials

Parrishs Pub- pool tables and fun crowd

yeah. It is enormous. It is three bars in one: The Sports Bar(21), The middle part (18 and up), and The Patio(21).

thanks for the good rundown,

we'll likely have to pick a couple though. I went to the library when I was in college, where do you think I'm likely to find people that I can't be their dad, (I'm only 32, but hardly looking for any "freshman poonanny"

looking where the congregation may be, I guess the Library could be a possibility

Library has all ages especially the Sports Bar, but the cover will be 20$ and it will be CROWDED.

some places where 30 somethings frequent include: City Grocery, Proud Larry's, The Pub, 208's bar, Two Stick, sometimes Downtown Grill, and Varsity Grill

and all ages go to The Lyric because it is a rockin music venue which attracts some pretty huge names.

wrong. Roosters & ajax are two different restaurants. Ajax doesnt even have an upstairs. Roosters is a restaurant downstairs, and a bar upstairs with a long porch overlooking the jackson ave strip of the square.

Varsity Grill is another restaurant/bar worth looking into. Its the old pearl street pasta, but reopened in september as more of a sports bar atmosphere. TVs everywhere.

LOL. Amen. My group is the same age.

What bar will have the most women between the ages of 25-30?

Based on the thread thus far, it looks like we will head to The Library.

It's 10 normally and packed. It is absurd, but on big game weekends they jack it up to 20.

They do it because they can. People still pack the place out.

between 8 or 9, sometimes earlier. just depends on the night. if you get there around 7 or 8 to start your night, have a few drinks, then get your wristband to come back later, youll be fine.
