I've been reading a lot of lists for top 10 players in the SEC and I haven't seen Ciron on any lists. I'm pretty sure he'd be on everyone's preseason lists. I tend to think he's one of the top 10 in the SEC. Eric Berry is a top 10 guy but his stats don't really show his contribution. What is the analyisis of Ciron?

Has he really done that poorly this year or is he just not quite a dominating as people had hoped?

He's awful this year. Should have gone pro after last season.

Before this season, 1st or 2nd rounder.

Judging him based solely on this season, 4th round-FA.

I've heard that quite a bit. I haven't watched him like I've watched Bama's OL players, etc. What has been the big difference between this and last year?

Before this season, I rarely saw him beaten in pass protection.

This season, I've seen defensive ends from Louisiana directional schools go through him and around him in pass protection.

I always considered him an above average run-blocker, and that hasn't changed.

i think he has played a lot better the last few games. Also, he struggled quite a bit at the first of the year, but I don't think I'd call his play awful by any means.

Ciron is 300+ and he was letting ULL's 250-pound defensive end abuse him like a rag doll. It wasn't like this guy was going around Black, he was going THROUGH him. He tends to flop around like a beached whale after most plays. Word around campus is that he reads the rant and complains about what we say. Oh well.

I think the problem with Black this year is that his knees are deteroriating quickly. He is having all kinds of knee trouble this season.

I got a tweet about Black during the Washington game from an NFL scout that said he was one of the most overrated players in this class and that scouts didn't think he was physical at all.

At the time, I scratched my head. After this year, I see it.

Sorry I forgot you can't ask a legit question without being a shite stirrer.

I posted multiple times before the season that I thought he was making tons of money by staying an extra season.

Look at some of the lists and it seems bizarre that he's not on some of the top 5 LSU player lists. He isn't on any of the top 10 sec player lists i've seen posted. I had him as one of the top 3 returning players after last season.

you missed my point. list don't mean shite, actions at the next level does. talent scouts make as many mistakes at judging talent as slimy slive and the officials in the sec...
