We could take OU s spot in the fiesta because the big 12 sucks and texas will be in the championship game. Its possible.

How do you propose we jump the SEC runner up?

Edit: Even still, we wouldn't be anywhere other than the Sugar. Unless you are expecting Alabama and Florida to lose outside of the SEC championship?

only if UF or Bama loses a regular season game, and then loses again in the SEC Championship game. If they are both undefeated going into the ATL, they will each get a BCS game.

Not with the loser having the same # of losses as LSU and beating LSU.

usually, I would agree... but it is all about timing. Let's say Bama loses to a close one to MSU or Auburn, then gets routed by UF. I could see them dropping behind us in the polls.

Oklahoma has 4 losses & isn't even ranked. Why in the world do you think they'd even be considered for Fiesta.

And LSU will not be in any BCS bowl.

I'm pretty sure OU doesn't have their own spot, buddy.

Only way it's POSSIBLY happening:

LSU wins out.
Bama and/or Florida loses before SECCG, and loses IN SECCG

There you have it.

If Bama or UF loses one of their remaining regular season games and then loses the SEC champ. game, then LSU could get in. Probably need some other teams ranked higher to lose too. Pull against TCU, Boise St. and Cinnc.

Anything is possible...just cause Auburn was 10-2 and beat 10-2 LSU in 2006-2007, didn't mean LSU didn't go to the Sugar and dismantle ND.

If Bama dropped below LSU in the polls it's not out of the realm of possibilities for the Sugar to take LSU.

Or when one-loss Florida St went to the NC in 2000-2001, and got their arse kicked by one loss Miami earlier that year....

That sure was a minute ago, but another good example.

You guys that keep saying this are retarded.

Nobody is saying LSU could be a 3rd SEC team in there. We are saying the scenario that would make it possible for LSU to be the second team, and it is justified.

I thought one conference could have 3 in the bcs. For some reason i thought lsu, fla, and uga played in bcs in same year. I know we will not jump bama or uf just thought we could get at large bid. I mentioned ou because the fiesta takes a big 12 team and everybody sucks outside of ut.

I give up. Just hope for LSU to win out, and Bama or Florida to be upset a few times.
