Under ZERO circumstances should Christian Life have ever been in the playoffs. I'm fairly sure they're the first 2-8 team to ever do it. They're in for a massacre in Plaquemine.

St. Fredrick made it one time at 2-8. Got destroyed by St. Marys.

quote:I understand how playing up in non-district games boosted their power rating but the LHSAA really needs to institute a postseason elligibility rule like the NCAA. 4 or 5 wins should be minimum. I know if my team is #33 in the power ratings and we have a record of 4-6 or 5-5 I'd start lighting fires if a 2-8 team got in ahead of us.

CLA lost to a terrible East Iberville team who St. John beat 63-6 FWIW

I'm calling the St. Frederick over South Cameron upset. Massey has the game as a toss up. St. Frederick won in a similar situation at South Cameron back in 2006 as well.

I don't think St. Fred's will have much problems with South Cameron. The Warriors are a much more battle tested team, and more talented at the skill positions.

SJS? St. John? ranked 1, would they have to travel? Being in Cali I don't follow the rules of the playoffs that closely.

Shouldn't a team have to be 500 or better to make the playoffs?

Sucks.

Im with roll and warhawk tiger.
I was at the game in 2006 when they played at Barbe, should be an entertaining game really, but I think SF pulls out a close one.
