Under ZERO circumstances should Christian Life have ever been in the playoffs. I'm fairly sure they're the first 2-8 team to ever do it. They're in for a massacre in Plaquemine.

St. Fredrick made it one time at 2-8. Got destroyed by St. Marys.

I understand how playing up in non-district games boosted their power rating but the LHSAA really needs to institute a postseason elligibility rule like the NCAA. 4 or 5 wins should be minimum. I know if my team is #33 in the power ratings and we have a record of 4-6 or 5-5 I'd start lighting fires if a 2-8 team got in ahead of us.

CLA lost to a terrible East Iberville team who St. John beat 63-6 FWIW

I'm calling the St. Frederick over South Cameron upset. Massey has the game as a toss up. St. Frederick won in a similar situation at South Cameron back in 2006 as well.

I don't think St. Fred's will have much problems with South Cameron. The Warriors are a much more battle tested team, and more talented at the skill positions.

I'd prefer to have CC win so SJS doesn't have to travel to Monroe but I can't see it happening.

SJS? St. John? ranked 1, would they have to travel? Being in Cali I don't follow the rules of the playoffs that closely.

Shouldn't a team have to be 500 or better to make the playoffs?

The team that traveled in the first round would get a home game in the second unless both teams traveled in the first round. In that case, the highest seeded team gets the home game.

Sucks.

Im with roll and warhawk tiger.

I was at the game in 2006 when they played at Barbe, should be an entertaining game really, but I think SF pulls out a close one.
