The excitement for LSU Tiger Football has been up and down this year. It seems to be related to who we were playing. (yes, there are many other contributing factors.) The "buzz" around town over the Alabama game towards the end of last week was soaring pretty good:however, I believe that's the last of the 'buzz" until the bowl game-and that depends upon which bowl we play in. I don't feel there will be much excitement from now on since we lost to Alabama. This buzz of talk of poor officiating will go a few days and then I think the buzz is gone. Is the excitement for LSU football gone for this season now that the Florida and Alabama games are over-and we lost to both?I know where we're ranked. It just seems like folks expectations are too high and it will interfere with their enjoying the rest of the season. What do you think?

Yep. I expect the lowest turnout this decade for a game this weekend.

LSU "fans" were ditching SECCG tix back in 2007 because we were all but out of the NC race after the Arky loss.

Put another way, far too many LSU fans don't deserve the current program we have. They do deserve a swift kick to the ballsack, however.

are people starting to realize that when you lose 2 games, your season is over and you can no longer compete for any type of championship. Is that why no one wants to show up? Les is always going to lose 2 games just like his boy Bo could never win the big game against woody

I think that LSU "fans" have a lot to learn from fans in the Big 10 and PAC 10. Did you see the stadium in Ann Arbor Saturday, despite the pathetic season they're having? Or maybe we don't have to stray so far from home. The stands at Kentucky were full as well. LSU fans have become some of the most spoiled, unrealistic, whiny bitches among college football fandom. An LSU football game, it seems, is only worth attending if it's against a team that has a chance of beating us and if LSU is still a serious contender for a national championship. It's nauseating.

Should the team decide not to show up Saturday as well? You know, just go out drinking instead of reporting for the game. I mean, there's no reason to play, since the national championship is no longer a possibility. right?

The buzz will get pretty shitty if we lose to either or both Ole Piss and Arkansas.

Win out and get a win in the Capital One Bowl.

Anything less is unacceptable for LSU.

I suggest you do your research before you embarrass yourself. Oops! Too late. It was Woody-5, Bo-4, Tie-1.

An agreed on our fans. It's retarded the way they view the incredible program we have.

I know this is horrible but the loss to Bama has just killed it for me this season.
