That was typical Miles. Says a bunch of words, but doesn't say anything.

Sounded pretty clear to me:

- officials on the field couldn\'t make the call
- turn to the replay booth
- replay wasn\'t conclusive enough to overturn
- play on the field stands
- didn\'t effect the score, game is over we have to move on.

We can be pissed about it for months, but if he is it serves him no purpose.

Honestly how can we expect a team to play for guy that will not support his players. All he had to say was that it was a horrible call. Thats it

Is stating the completely obvious necessary? Everyone saw what happened.

Saying nothing does more than negative comments.

Fans pay the bills and he knows we wanted him to say that it was a terrible call. Is it that hard.

I guarrentee you that their are players that desired him to show some support for their efforts.

Precisely.

The SEC isn't going to hit a magical reset buttona and put the two teams back on the field. We also have to big games against Ole Miss and Arkansas where SEC officials will be making calls.

If he was going to get pissed, he could have done it right after the game. It isn't worth it at this point.

What does bitching about the comment do? Cost him $30k minimum and potential suspension. A lot of good that will do to his players...

I\'m guessing you thought Saban throwing his headset in Julio\'s face and dragging it around is supporting?

Christ, the double standard with Miles will always be there...

I didnt expect him to blow up but I did desire and expect him to say simply that it was a terrible call. Hell he probably wouldnt have been fined for such a simple statement. He choose to skirt the issue and it pisses me off

Double Standard.pffft. How hard would it have been for him to say that it was a terrible call. He skirted the issue in typical fashion insteead of giving the fans what they want.

I may be overreacting and Ive supported Miles from the beginning but a simple phrase is not asking to much.

If he says anything else, it wouldn't be a fine, it would be a suspension. Slive has already said that the next coach to publicly comment on any kind of officiating would be suspended.

It is what it is...can't change it, only move forward.

We don't know what has been said behind closed doors.

What comes around, goes around and that satisfaction is sweet.
