I sent the following to the SEC Office this morning :

"To Mr. Slive,

Before the LSU - Alabama football game, I predicted to a room full of folks that the SEC in the form of the refs would be pivotal in deciding who would win this game. And, indeed, I wasn't far off the mark.
The 5 1/2 to 5 3/4- yard penalty walked off against LSU for running into the kicker made it REAL easy for the Tide to convert a 4th down.

Then in the 4th quarter, LSU's Patrick Peterson intercepted a pass on the sidelines. Our group went wild, as there was still over 5 minutes left in the game. But wait, the ref on the spot called Peterson out-of-bounds. Incomplete pass!!

As CBS ran the replay it was obvious to everyone in the nation that it was indeed an interception. In the eternity it took the replay officials and the refs to get their story straight, I wanted to bet everyone in the room that the SEC would make sure that Alabama won this game."No, No, it's obvious he intercepted ," they yelled. I told them the fix was in. It's a telling point that no one would take the bet, as these happenings are becoming commonplace when Florida and Alabama are playing.

You and the powers that be have to have Florida and Alabama win out. And it happened! Incomplete pass, the man didn't get a foot down inbounds when everyone could see that he indeed had gotten BOTH feet in bounds.

Look at it your ownself. But don't apologize please, That's just disgusting.

I am not saying that LSU could have won. Alabama has a great team, but you and your officials are applying a stench to the conference that is disgusting to all true football fans. You should step down and let someone that cares about football run the best counference in the country."

It is getting really disgusting!!!
