I dont know if this has already been talked about, and if it has please just point me in the right direction. But, if LSU wins out and finishes 10-2, what bowl game are we looking at getting?

SECCG winner plays for the national title, loser goes to sugar. I think a 10-2 LSU gets into the Cotton against OK ST.

What if Alabama slips up and loses to Auburn and then to Florida?

I think Sugar would rather Bama travel to New Orleans instead of LSU drive in for the game.

If that happens then we get the Sugar. If we stay 10-2.

I don't think the Sugar bowl would care, the city of New Orleans would hate it. Our ticket would sell, but most would not stay in a hotel, and eat out every meal for 3 days.

We'll definitely be in the Cap One if we're 10-2, assuming the SECCG loser hasn't slipped up somewhere else allowing us a chance at the BCS.

If both Bama and Florida are undefeated going into SECCG, then probably both Bama and Florida go to BCS games leaving LSU in Cap One (Iowa, Ohio State, or Penn State likely) against Big Ten. Second option is Cotton against Big 12 (Kansas State or OK State likely).

If Bama loses to MSU, squeaks by AU and loses to UF, there is still a good chance for us in the sugar. The replay/interception fiasco would actually help us out here.

Seems like everyone is assuming we'll beat Ole Miss and Arkansas.

Bama still gets Sugar Bowl as SEC runnerup

Nope. If Sugar loses the SEC champ to the national champ game, they can choose any qualified at-large team.

I agree if everyone wins out.

It's just possible if Bama were to fall apart and we win out.

Traditionally, it seems the SECCG loser gets the shaft. Unless, it's like last year where Bama was clearly the runner up.
